As first time home buyers, me and my fiancee were very reliant on having someone who was familiar with the process help guide us through everything. After getting things settled on the finance side first, we started "shopping" for an agent to represent us. We met with Mary to get to know each other, talk about the process, her role, our desires in a home... Just ten minutes in, we knew we wanted her to represent us.
Mary has a very calm and soothing demeanor, which is definitely what we needed--make no mistake, buying a home is wonderful but it is stressful! She took the time to answer any question we directed to her, or would point us in the right direction when she didn't know.
We were looking in the 200k range, and I know looking through her history - at the time - I was worried we would be 'lower priority' as clients, since she had represented properties much more expensive than that...this was NEVER the case, and we felt she gave the same effort and dedication to us as she would any other client. She's truly a professional, with a good sense of humor too!
Whenever we needed to get in touch, Mary was incredibly responsive. When you have a question, you don't want to be sitting around waiting to hear back--she was always a quick text or email away. She was also great at working around our schedule for viewing houses, either making time for us or putting us in the very capable hands of another member of her team, Carter, when she wasn't available.
I think that *anyone* would benefit with working with Mary, and we are so happy to have had the privilege of having her represent us. We love our home, but if we are ever in the market to sell/buy again I know who we will be calling!
